Why Digitalfoo.net?
Digitalfoo.net was started mainly as a platform to host installation/configuration notes so that I could refer to them when I needed them again. I have been in many situations where I knew exactly how to setup/configure a service and then revisit the topic only to find out that I have forgotten the tetius details.
Also, at the time of Digitalfoo.net creation, I also decided to make a personal CMS partly because I was frustrated with most of my options and I was up for the challenge at the time. It has been a great learning experience and I feel that I have accomplished everything I was looking for and can take pride seeing my creation in action.
About Me
If you have not figured it out by now, I do a lot with FreeBSD, Linux, programming languages, and often tinker with many other Open Source technologies and gadgets.
I am currently an undergrad Computer Science student on the east coast in the US. I am currently employed as a programmer that also carries the dual role of System/Network admin.
Yes, I am for hire and I do contract work. Just contact me.
